I had a horrible experience with Dr. Michael Napoli. If you are pregnant and using him you must switch immediately. I came to learn what he's all about during my pregrancy. He is uncaring, condescending and did not make the overall pregnancy exciting. He examines you in less than 3 minutes and your out of his office in a flash. Doesn't give you any info about the babies development unless you ask and then he cracks a joke or makes a wise, sarcastic comment. I can't believe a doctor like this is allowed to practice. He also led us to believe he would be delivering our baby at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset. On the day i went into labor we went directly to the hospital and learned that he lost privelages at North Hospital. He never told me that the only hospital he delivers at is Saint Vincents in Manhatten. Fortunately, I had a healthy baby and it was definately a blessing that Napoli didn't deliver. I heard horror stories about him from other former patients. He also is known for doing quick c-SECTIONS because its more accomodating to his schedule and more dinero in his pocket. I do not wish this awfull experience on any expecting mother. This is the most exciting time in your life so find a trustworthy, and caring ob/gyn. Good luck!
