Review content:
Our dog Ranger's eyes light up when I mention that we're going to Pal's Inn. (Ranger takes advice, not orders, and she always knows what is best for her!) I realized we had found a special place and people when all three of our dogs trot in tails wagging with eager expressions when we take them to Pal's Inn. (Should I be jealous? Nah.) Tracy and Marie, the other trainers and handlers, and the volunteers, truly work there as a calling, not a job. This is most obviously evident in the rescue work they do, as well as those nearly daily lost and found e-mails, alerting the community of a misplaced loved one.
The care four legged family members receive at Pal's Inn goes above and beyond, and our recent personal experience is a testament to that. We got a call from Tracy as we awaited our flight home that Ranger seemed to be straining to urinate. Tracy trusted his gut and took Ranger to our vet, and then to the ER when it wasn't immediately apparent what was causing Ranger's problem. Turns out, Ranger had previously undetected bladder stones. Thanks to Tracy, we picked up Ranger the morning after our return, healing from the surgery to remove the bladder stones. We received excellent communication from both the ER vet and Tracy about Ranger's condition, and Tracy also called the following day to see how Ranger was doing. When we picked up our other two dogs from Pal's Inn, all the handlers that day inquired how Ranger was doing, and updated us on how "co-dependent" Solo did in the absence of his partner in crime. (He didn't eat--no surprise, but he's making up for it now!) We're so grateful to everyone at Pal's Inn, and most especially Tracy, who took time out of his Saturday to take Ranger to the ER. Five stars aren't enough! I'm giving the loving community at Pal's Inn a hundred stars!!!
