Since we were short for time (3/3/10 - event 5/12/10), I specifically stated that I could not get alterations so needed the dress to fit. After they measured my daughter, they said she fell between a 2 and a 4. I told them I would go with the smaller size because I could not get alterations. They said it would be fine. The dress arrived yesterday (4/29) and it is HUGE. I mean, fall to the floor HUGE. After numerous calls, and no help other than to refer me to a tailor, I asked what measurements they noted for my daughter and what Alfred Angelo's size 2 measurements were. They measured my daughter at a 19.5 bust and Alfred Angelo's size 2 bust is 33. It would have been obvious to anyone, that major alterations would be needed to make this dress wearable, yet according to Barb and the other sales girl, this would fit perfectly at the size 2. I was very clear on not getting alterations and they ignored that fact. This has been so stressful since I have 7 days to get this dress wearable and the dress will end up costing way more than it is worth.
In general, stay away. Non professional and lack of attention to detail will be found here. Cheesy store also. Attached to apartments, with tatoo parlor practically next door.
