Since we were short for time (3/3/10 - event 5/12/10), I specifically stated that I could not get alterations so needed the dress to fit. After they measured my daughter, they said she fell between a 2 and a 4. I told them I would go with the smaller size because I could not get alterations. They said it would be fine. The dress arrived yesterday (4/29) and it is HUGE. I mean, fall to the floor HUGE. After numerous calls, and no help other than to refer me to a tailor, I asked what measurements they noted for my daughter and what Alfred Angelo's size 2 measurements were. They measured my daughter at a 19.5 bust and Alfred Angelo's size 2 bust is 33. It would have been obvious to anyone, that major alterations would be needed to make this dress wearable, yet according to Barb and the other sales girl, this would fit perfectly at the size 2. I was very clear on not getting alterations and they ignored that fact. This has been so stressful since I have 7 days to get this dress wearable and the dress will end up costing way more than it is worth. In general, stay away. Non professional and lack of attention to detail will be found here. Cheesy store also. Attached to apartments, with tatoo parlor practically next door. I loved going to this store. They actually moved to Abington to a bigger store. It made shopping for a gown so much easier. We picked out our bridesmaids dresses there and they had reasonable prices. The sale help was also good. They kept showing us swatches for each dress that we liked and I even got to take some home! Pros: huge selection more

Although I didn't find my dress there, I did find the perfect dresses for my bridesmaids and my MOH. After getting measured all of my girls told me the same thing: how nice they were treated at Betty's. The dresses came in, in the exact time they told me. They even shipped to my out of town girls for free! When I go back to pick up some sashes I'll be looking to get my shoes and accessories there b/c the service was great. Thanks again! more

The only reason that I went to this bridal shop was b/c they had the after six dresses that I had seen in a magazine. I should have known from the get-go that this was going to be bad news. First off the store just seemed dirty. The times I went the staff seemed to be doing way too many things at once and I could barely get their attention. But I stuck it out b/c I wanted these dresses. My girls and I ordered the dresses approximately 8 months before the wedding they came in about 3 months before the wedding (why it took so long i don't know). When 2 of the girls went to pick up their dresses they had ordered the wrong ones. Not only that but they tried to blame me for the mix up, saying that I had confirmed with them this order. I had to wait over A MONTH for them to get the right dresses in. It took a bridesmaid calling them and complain and then all of a sudden the dress was miraculously there 2 days later. Now here is the kicker...I have a very tight schedule and have to get this last dress picked up b/c my bridesmaid is going out of the country I call a few days earlier to confirm they are open until 4. I leave work early to pick up her dress and get there at 3:40 and they are closed! I now have to rearrange my work schedule AGAIN to get this dress.
