Review content:
Not being a vegetarian and having a very large appetite, I was skeptical at best upon entering the Veggie Grill. But all it took was one sample of their chillin' chicken to convince me. I've had all kinds of tofu/tempeh meat substitutes before, and while some of them are good, none of them really taste like meat. But this stuff was EXACTLY like chicken! The taste, the texture, everything was dead on. My meat-loving boyfriend even ordered the Chill out wings, which says a lot for its chicken-authenticity. I'd also recommend the sweet potato fries as a side, and a cup of their lemonade. A great find for vegetarians or the health-conscious looking for a meat fix! The outdoor patio is also a refreshing lunch location in an otherwise blase strip mall.
Pros: Amazing vegan meat substitutes.
Cons: Not a lot of variety, pretty much salads, sandwiches, and sides.
