Businiess name:  McLees Automotive Repair

Review content:
Brian Mc Lees Automotive seemed to be qualified when I first took my car to them. I ended up getting frustrated when they told me one thing was the problem, and that "this" would take care of it. Then they would do "this" and my car wasn't fixed. They wanted to charge me another diagnostic fee! I had already paid almost $2000 on the first diagnostic test and the repairs, and I did not feel like I had to pay more money to figure out the problem that wasn't yet fixed! They cut the price down for me, only after I complained to them about having to pay for another test! I went by Firestone and asked if I would have had to pay them for several diagnostic fees to get to the root of the problem, they told me no, that any further testing they would have done would have been included with the first diagnostic fee. The people at Brian Mc Lees are very nice people, I want to make that very clear. I do think the work they did was pretty good as my car is running way better now, even though the check engine light is still on. However, I do think that they could have handled my situation much better than they did. I don't think people should be charged for a diagnostic fee, not have the problem fixed and then be charged again for another diagnostic test when you bring the car back. I probably won't be going back here again, and would have a hard time recommending them to others based on my own experience. David Phillips RESPONSE FROM Brian McLees Automotive: I am very sorry your experience at McLees Automotive was not satisfactory. As I explained to you, the work we did when you first came in was not all that we recommended to you, but we did what you wanted at the time. When you came back with a check engine light we did the work we had originally told you was needed. We always strive to keep a good relationship with our customers and I again would be glad to work with you in order to keep your business and continue to service your vehicles. Thank you for your review.
