Review content:
The food was a disappointment for two of the three persons having dinner. Spaghetti with seafood (fruitti di mare) included nothing fresh except the clams and perhaps the two little pieces of octopus. The scallops and shrimp which were not abundant were definitely previously frozen (maybe frozen fresh) and flavorless. The pasta was overcooked, the rather plain tomato sauce was nothing special except for being salty. If this is an Italian restaurant you'd never know it by this dish. Another member of the dinner party ordered the yellowtail snapper, which was overcooked and flavorless with boring pasta shells on the side. Everything else on that plate (which included crab meat) was plain and uninteresting. The third party ordered quail and gnocchi which was the best of the three dinners, well made with special seasoning and some attention to details. In general, this kind of food does not merit approximately $25 per plate. Service was OK, ambiance OK, bread and bread sticks OK. No one was interested in dessert after the lackluster meals. Won't go back again.
