We had lunch with some friends and two days later we checked our accounts and the restaurant had taken three times the amount than what we had paid for out of our accounts!!! we contacted the restaurant and they gave us a really weird excuse. Then we had to talk to the accountant the next day and he became angry with us and at one point even hung up on us. They were very rude and it wasn't until we threatened to call the police that they gave us our money back. I have no idea how it is even possible for them to charge more to the creditcard than what it said on the bill we signed, but they did. We had three seperate bills and all were overcharged three times as much as was on the bill. It was really lucky that we had saved all of our bills so we had the right documentation. My theory is that they heard us speak a foreign language during the lunch and decided to try and cheat us knowing that we were tourists and probably wouldn't be back. This is a really horrible way to treat people and if you want to eat here just remember to keep your bill and check your account in the following days.
