""Two Times a Winner"" by gardeningorganically (1 review) \r
March 16, 2009 - Likes it - We revisited Mackes this weekend to see what all of the talk was about. I understand that Mackes hired a new chef about 6 months ago and that the menu had changed drastically. The scallop dish we had was without a doubt the best we have ever had in all of our travels. The ""moon pie"" house made was a great take and the RC cola was a blast. In the Graces Plaza makes this restaurant a hidden treasure. We understand that the brunch is equally delightful and we intend to be a regular. In the restaurant enviroment of recent Mackes is worthy of the locals support.
Pros: Best Food in Town
Cons: A little hard to find
