I'm a very long term member of this club and have seen many transitions over the years. I think the staff is great and helpful and friendly.
The club overall just stinks. It is down on it's heels and really really shabby. I think having carpet throughout the club is a big problem. The place reeks particularly downstairs. The locker rooms are just unbelievable in how nasty they are. For as much as we are paying per month there should be a better return on our money.
With the recent influx of new members absolutely no thought was put into where they would all park. Parking can be at a premium anyway and now it is nearly impossible. I wish that the owner had put some thought in to the upkeep and maintenance of this club before he went about sucking up all of the other clubs into his web. The appearance and maintenance of the Johnny Dodds club is shameful. It used to be a ""flag ship"" facility and now it is more the ""red headed step child"" of his collection of clubs. It would be nice if the owner, Kent, could be bothered to make an appearance every now and then. It would be even better if he would spend some of his money to do something about the club. It is very disappointing.
Pros: convenient, nice staff
Cons: Stinks, dirty, nasty locker rooms.
