Having so few options in Mt. Pleasant, I reluctanly signed up for ESAC. I ran..not walked away after my required year..I have lived all over the US and only since the 90's has a gym I've been a member of (LA to Atlanta) had a year long contract with only death or move as the way out! That should have been my first red flag....but alas...I was desperate.\r The staff never..never greets you. There is no desire to learn their members' names. I never found a bathroom stall that actually locked (all the inside locks are broken!). The lockerroom is hairy scarey...the weightroom dirty....hum..oh yea..you have to pay extra for spin class (say What?!?!?)\r After the long...long ...LONG year of being a member..yippee the term is up..but ONLY after you get a certified return recpt. letter to them...written in blood. It is utterly ridiculous to think I have to go the post office to officially end my year! \r I say any other option is better.. if only there was one nice gym in Mt. P..it would close ESAC down in a blink (once all the members made it to the post office to get their certified letters to them)
