DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY AN EXPENSIVE GOWN,HAVE IT BUTCHERED BY ALTERATIONS AND HAVE NO RECOURSE FOR THE DAMAGE DONE. THEY ARE NOT NICE HERE,ARE EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY,CONDESCENDING AND THE ALTERATIONS DEPARTMENT HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE DOING:\r Purchased gown a year before the wedding.\r Called the store 8 months after my purchase to check the status of the gown. They didn't know. They called back later that day and said it JUST came in (I since found out from the manager it arrived 6 weeks prior but I never got notification).\r Went for a first fitting.\r Went back several more times..Once for the bustle (which was screwed up ) and for follow-ups. Each time I went, more problems occurred and previous problems were never corrected. It became an absolute nightmare. Three weeks before the wedding the gown had to be taken in (most brides gain or lose a few pounds I think so this shouldn't have been a major issue). It was taken in way too much and couldn't be zipped (the zipper was defective from the get-go)even tho I had lost another couple of pounds. It was decided to change the zipper. The new zipper was horrible..big and ugly and the gown material didn't hide it..It was fully exposed unlike the original zipper. Also, too much of the outer layer (the basic gown) was cut off..snip-snip-snip, and the under (slip?) layer was exposed. Also the gown was very wrinkled. I was told a week before the wedding that pressing the gown wouldn't get the wrinkles out ..that I would need to buy expensive underwear (makes\r no sense to me). This is contrary to what I was told at the first fitting which was that the wrinkles would come out in pressing. This is all days before the wedding. The second floor desk person, who I guess is in charge of alterations, was also very rude and insulting towards me the last time I went in..She blamed everything on my hips! (which by the way haven't grown since the gown was ordered). She actually started to poke them (the hips) the last time I was there. I left the store in tears. I couldn't believe the disaster they made of my once beautiful gown. The gown that nearly fit at the first appointment. So now I have a wrinkled wedding gown, a bustle that won't ""work"" an exposed zipper, the underskirt showing through and a gown that basically doesn't fit me.\r The owner is sticking by her no refund policy. Do you believe that?\r I'll be wearing my gf's wedding gown from David's.
