This used to be a great place to get personal training. Visiting recently I noticed a huge difference in this department. What was once very professional, degreed, certified training staff has now turned into lazy, indifferent trainers who appear to be annoyed when approached for assistance. I ask for the head trainer Michele to see what was going on only to find out her position was eliminated! Bad move for HHFC. I trained with Michele as a non-member years ago and she not only gets results she is an excellent head trainer & role model. She was why I was revisiting contemplating joining. When I ask where she was I was told her position was eliminated due to financial constraints. A member told me Michele is missed and the trainers do whatever they want now with no supervsion. I was referred to trainer Nancy Norris but she is rarely there so that won't work. The place looks like it hasn't had any new equipment since 2000. The weight room carpeting is ripped with duct tape over the rips!! Very disappointed. Don't join this pricey gym thinking your going to get good personal training.....you won't. False advertising for sure. Head over to the GAC in Grand Blanc to get the service HHFC used to give. Hopefully Michele went over there.
