Review content:
We have been ordering Extreme Pizza in Issaquah for years and have always loved it. Last Friday we had guests from out of state and decided to order pizza. I raved about ""The Boarder"" (barbecued pork) and was excited for them to try it. When I saw the pizza it was a different color than usual. It usually looks kind of red, but it was very light in color. When we tried it, there did not seem to be any barbecue sauce on it, and did not taste very good. My boyfriend called the restaurant and explained the situation. He asked to have a new pizza delivered. They verified our phone number and said okay. We waited over an hour for the new pizza to come. We were going out for the evening and everyone else wanted to leave. I said no, that would be rude to not be there when the pizza came. I even had ANOTHER nice tip ready for the driver. We finally called the restaurant to find out when we could expect the pizza and were told it would not be coming. The manager had talked to the person that made the pizza and was told that he did put barbecue sauce on it. We told the manager that there was so little sauce you could not taste it. He did not care. He also did not think it was important (or considerate) to call us and tell us they would not be delivering another pizza. Obviously Extreme Pizza must be doing so well in this economic climate that they do not need to satisfy the good customers they already have. Well, this customer will be looking for a new pizza parlor- suggestions anyone?
