My contract called for a $450.00 refundable deposit. I left the apt in excellent condition and gave timely notice of moving out. They did not send me a list of why I would not receive a full refund as they are required to by law. After over 20 phone calls and a demand letter they sent $300.00 saying it was ""paid in full plus a bonus"". This is theft! The only recourse is a small claim in court in Skagit County. They have stolen $150.00 from us.
