Review content:
I once got my wife to try Indian food in the Dallas area and she hated it. I thought ""oh well at least she tried"" and figured we'd never go out for indian again. When we moved to San Antonio, our new neighbors recommended this restaurant and my wife agreed to try it. She ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! She is hooked on their chicken tikka masalla with rice and naan bread. Not to mention, our 13 year old daughter is also hooked on this food now - something which I never thought would happen in a million years considering the looks she always gave me when I'd order chicken curry at the local chinese. \r
Anyways, the atmosphere, food and service is great. The owners/management like to chat and have conversations. They also have a liquor license - for me that's a ""must have"" with any kind of indian food.\r
The only criticisms I have of this restaurant is that sometimes it can take a while for them to ask you what you want to drink and I once went to the lunch buffet and there wasn't a great deal of choice. Otherwise, this is by far the best indian food in town!!
Pros: Belly dancers occasionally. Fantastic indian food. Serve beer!!
Cons: Small lunch buffet. Sometimes wait too long before being asked for drinks after being seated.
