I have gone to Gaetano's a few times and highly recomend it. After reading the reviews, I disagee with the thought that this place is club like. It can be loud/crowded on weekends but I take that to be a good sign. First of all... the italian cuisine is delicious and reasonably priced. The menu not only offers delicious italian meals ( my favorite is the lobster raviolis and fried calamari for apps) but the chef will make something like chicken fingers and freedom fries (my sons favorite).\r
As far as the atmosphere.. I love it.. its like being in a fancy north end restaurant but then again its a family place... its perfect for everyone. I wasnt bothered by the fact many people seemed to know one another there... thats the appeal of it and thats what makes the experience so friendly. \r
Over all...delicious food and wonderful restaurant. Plus... the martini selection is phenomenol and creative... and the wine pours are quite generous!
