I'm very disappointed in Blackfinn....that breaks my heart to say that because I loved the place before last night =(. If you google reviews on Blackfinn you'll see quite a few bad reviews regarding racist and people being singled out regarding dress code when there is many, many people wearing the same kind of stuff. I knew that before I booked the party, but thought maybe a couple people just had a bad experience or were truly ""ghetto"" and trying to say they were singled out. But WOW!!!! We had a friend show up that had some jean shorts on and they told him he needed a belt on...well...he had a belt on. He was also wearing a flat bill hat faced forward and they told him ""you better not turn that hat sideways""...he hadn't planned to turn it sideways??? Really? So while we're on the dance floor they came and pulled him out and kicked him out. Why let him in if you're going to completely embarrass him in front of everybody? Why make a scene like that? If there is a dresscode, you should enforce it at the door. Don't pull him off the dance floor while we're having a good time and freaking kick him out in front of all his friends. So if that wasn't enough, he drove all the way to Arlington, put jeans on and drove all the way back for them to say he couldn't come back in. SERIOUSLY??? We talked to the manager at the end of the night and enforced we will never come back and I will personally tell everybody I know to not step foot in there. I'm truly disappointed. And the great party I was looking for to celebrate my best friends 29th birthday was a bust. The SADDEST part is, when we were talking to the staff and the manager about being racist and I even talked about the reviews they said ""I know, I know...I'm sorry."" Really, you know and it should be ok??? WOW...
