I used to shop at the southern thrift in Donelson , it was my favorite THRIFT store. But the pricing has gotten laughable, and the manager thinks it is NOT a thrift store, but more like a T.J.Maxx. (yeah, right) If you make a purchase of a large piece of furniture that you happen on, (even if you're willing to drop a couple hundred bucks on them) they will NOT hold it for you to make arrangements to pick it up for any longer than 1 hour. Citing corporate policy, (all four stores are a corporate, really?) Customer service stinks and I am referring to the corporate HEAD. ( of all 4 stores) I will never give them another cent. I will take all of my thrift store business to Music Valley Thrift in Madison, they are customer friendly. (they want my money, how it should be, its a customer reliant business and knows it) I guess thats why southern thrift has so much stuff, they arent really moving it.
