After a few visits to Pampas Gill, my wife and I got the hang of how to eat there. First: don't load up on the sides. They weigh your plate and you'll want to save ounces for the meat. I just get some caesar salad and yucca fries. Then: go for the sirloin. They slice it it front of you, it's pretty lean, and very tasty. Can be a bit salty though. We like to put some of their tangy hot sauce on it. The chicken has a bone in it, adding to the weight, and was too salty for my tastes. And finally: go before 6 pm for a hefty early dinner discount. (You can take it to go and have it later if you want.) The two of us get out of there for under 20 bucks, a tasty and filling sirloin dinner, split a soda. Well worth it. Quick and easy. Pros: Affordable, tasty top sirloin dinner. Early bird special. Cons: Can get pricey if you dont watch your side orders at the buffet. Can be salty.
