""Fusion Cuisine""....I don't think so! Just yo' traditional filipino food served on ""nice Target dishes"" if anything...sorry. Food WAS good though!! If dinning in, 1 entree placed out to share btw 2 people...so my BF Jayson & I ordered 3 entrees really & shared; longanisa fried rice, chkn pansit, & pork adobe w/ pineapple & cantelope juice (hehe)...oh & shared 2 Turons (fried bananas) w/ ube ice cream...all that under $40 bucks...that was just great!
Price range is very reasonable! Appetizers $3.50-$7.25; Entrees $6-$18; Desserts $3-$5; Drinks $1.25-$4. Sunday ""All You Can Eat"" Buffet 11:30am-3pm too, but we missed it. Seating is cool...nothing spectacular, but really simple & nice. Normal hours are 11:30am-10pm...nice! Oh, even though it may not be 1/2-way crowded, at least they have some soft music playing while you dine in.
Easy parking only because not everyone knows about the spot!! The restaurant wasn't crowded AT ALL Sunday evening, but that didn't discourage us, so don't let it discourage you. Located off of Jackson Street from Hwy 880 in the corner (REALLY...the corner) of the outdoor shopping center down the parking aisle from Nations.
This was a new spot for my BF & myself...nice to find a filipino restaurant in our neck of the woods w/o having to drive to The City (SF) or ova/thru The Hills (Concord/San Ramon) w/ the exception of Gerry's Grill or Jollibee's I suppose. Kenkoy's Grill just opened apparently Jan 2007...maybe that's why they're not well known yet....I dunno.
Anywho, this couple, Mary & Jayson, would go back though...or order take out!
Pros: Easy parking, good service & food, friendly atmosphere, & AWESOME prices!!!
Cons: Too empty (opened Jan '07)...for now at least....
