Review content:
Before renting from Executive Group I had a previous tenant warn me against them, however the apartment they had was very convenient to me so I decided to sign a 6 month lease.\r
\r
From the time of the initial call regarding viewing the apartment through my present status as a tenant I have had nothing but difficulties in working with Executive Group, or more particularly with Heather--their leasing agent. Every single time that I have asked her for information, to check into some, or to let her know I was missing something (like when they failed to provide me all the keys) she has failed to follow-up. When signing the lease agreement she managed to lose my payment information, and due to their policies of not letting you know when payment is overdue they just started racking up fees.\r
\r
While Heather has been a common problem, the issues extend beyond her. The previously mentioned loss of paper work is a good example; as having been rushed through the signing process (it having taken 15 minutes for approximately 25 sheets to review) I overlooked/was not informed of the fact that I had waived my rights to receive non-payment notices. Since they took the responsibility of filling out the paper work, and allow only 2 days of delinquency before tacking on a $75 fee, I found this to be a very self-serving policy that rewards them for their mistakes.\r
\r
The other big qualm I had is that at time of check-in, Heather had already filled out the damage report from the previous tenant and presented it to me as ""sign here to get your key."" After which she immediately left, and I started finding wall scuffs, paint chips, and other small damage items for which I may be held liable now.\r
\r
The bright side of things is the apartment itself, the price is OK and everything is of acceptable quality. When I found an issue at move-in (a leaky sink) they were quick to fix it.
Pros: Nice apartments, some for a reasonable rate.
Cons: Very poor customer service, many mistakes and no follow-up when needed.
