Review content:
We have been doing businesss with Liberty Self Storage for well over 10 years. We find the facility well managed and maintained and customer service to be excellent. You can see that the staff takes great pride in customer satisfaction while understanding personal needs that may arise. The ownership in many cases offers services free of charge and has been flexible with terms during this economic crisis we are in. My business has a level 1 unit with a racking system placed on both sides. Since the weather service, days in advance, warned us of how powerful this storm was going to be, combined with the Governors of New York and New Jersey ordering evacuations along coastal areas it was time to do an inventory check or as I like to say due diligence; reposition, cover or remove items that we deemed vulnerable at work, home and the storage unit.\r
\r
Yes, we also were not allowed into our unit until the power was restored and it was safe to enter, we cannot fault Liberty Self Storage for putting safety first, after all a human life is worth more than stuff!! In today's day and age no one wants to take ownership for what goes wrong and would like to point their finger at someone else, that is why the court system is backed up with frivolous lawsuits. No one could prepare for the type of devastation we experienced with this storm. Just ask the people on the Jersey Shore, Breezy Point, Hoboken or Staten island who are suffering more than losing a few personal possessions not important enough to take action when call for. In closing when I rented my unit I requested a level 1 unit being totally aware that you could see the Hudson River from the parking lot. That was the time, even though there was no history of flooding in this area that we had the foresight to think ahead.\r
\r
Thank you Liberty Self Storage for the long hours you put in during the storm's aftermath and thank you for the dumpsters you provided us during the clean up. You have my loyalty in an era where there is no loyalty during tough times.\r
