Review content:
I chose to go to the restaurant based on its high mark for most romantic, which I found to be stretched. As my wife and I pulled into the parking area we immediately saw the golf bags pulled up to the front door from some guys enjoying the 19th hole. Hmmm strike 1! We walked in and were promptly seated; it was the middle up the week though. We quickly noticed that we were the youngest people in the place and it had a smell about it that reminded me of old lady perfume mixed with a stale casino. Strike 2! As we looked over the menu we were happy with the selections and the wine menu was very extensive which was also a perk. As our service began we started to see things unfold and the disappointment set in. The server was not familiar with the liquors available in the bar. Of course there was the standard "" I've only been here a few weeks"". When the food finally arrived it was not as impressive as the menu had led us to believe. The sauce on the veal tasted burnt and the seafood in the boulliabase was not absolutely fresh. The service was painfully slow and eventually we set our credit card on the table as a hint that we were ready to go. Strike 3, we're out of here. Overall, the wine list was comprehensive and the menu promissing, but this place needs and update. If they're aiming to please the retirement community then fine, but definately NOT in the top 10 for the most romantic spot .
Pros: Wine List
Cons: Everything else was Average or Lower
