A scheduled whole-house check found a problem with our sewage ejector line. It was leaking and soon to start spewing. The homebuilder did a competant job in 1979, but it was a mess to repair with a lot of extra work required. Ron took care of it with Jesse's help. The cost seemed high on the estimate, but by the time they finished it up we probably had a job that cost the company far more than their estimate. The line was installed loosely and bucked every time the pump came on and went off. That stress was the source of a crack that began to leak. Due to the short sections the builder used to put the connection to the main waste line in initially, a lot of the main line needed to be replaced. During the fix, they improved the junction to the main line, routed the ejector line around an electrical conduit, and secured the ejector line to the wall. This should prevent future problems. The work appears to be tidy and professionally done. It took more time than they guessed, but it not only fixed our problem, but fixed some other things that were probably going to fail.
