Review content:
Five months ago, I bought a vehicle from Perro's. It had a 30 day warranty. After driving it for a week or so, the alternator seized up and ruined the serpentine belt. Perro's agreed to replace the alternator but refused to change the belt, which wasn't broken, but it was badly burned and cracked from the friction of the alternator. They had the car in their shop for about four days! After getting it back, I had the vehicle inspected. It FAILED due to headlight, ball joint, steering and a couple other little issues. I brought it back to Perro's. They had the car for about a week and said they made all the repairs. It re-inspected successfully. Yesterday, my wife was about to get on Rt 146 when the ball joint that they had worked on, let go and the wheel fell off. I had the car towed to a repair shop (not Perro's) and was told that the wheel hub assembly, axle and wheel bearing were all badly damaged when the wheel fell off. Obviously the broken ball joints also need to be replaced. Had this happened on the highway, she could have involved in a very serious accident. It will cost a minimum of $1200.00 to make the repairs. I feel that Perro's sales is sleazy and their mechanics are incompetent. I won't bring the car to them for repair and after five months I doubt they're obligated to cover any of the damages to my car anyway, but I CAN discourage anyone in the market for a used car from doing business with them. Hopefully this review turns atleast a few prospective customers away from Perro's.
Pros: Cant think of any unless you like lip service
Cons: You name it - It was BAD
