Review content:
At this point if I could have given them 0 stars I would have but the computer made me choose at least 1.
My grandmother called b/c her heat was not working. The gentleman came out, diagnosed the problem and stated it would be $565 just for the part. (this did not include the $100+ fee just for them to come out) I asked him was the part really that expensive and he said yes. The total to replace a Pilot Ignition Module was $595!!!! I asked about the warranty and was advised the part probably only had a 30 day warranty (90 at the most) and that they only warranty their work for 30 days. I had a really hard time believing that a part would only be warrantied for 30-90 days so I asked for my grandmother's old part and the box the new part came out of.
I did some research for myself and found that the part straight from the manufacturer only cost $145 and you could get them cheaper than that from other places. I understand a markup as I am a business person myself but 400% is excessive. The website also showed that the part had a 1 yr warranty . .so why would he tell me 30-90 days. I called back and the person who answered the phone claimed ignorance and advised that I call back on Monday and talk to Cindy. I will def be calling back and I'll update this as well . . .in the meantime, if you need your furnace fixed, I suggest you look elsewhere.
