Review content:
I have been to this store on and off for the last 12 years. I must write this review because of the new changes that I have witnessed; that have taken place within the last 12 months. First, most all, of the staff wear full complete matching uniforms. they all seem to be very knowledgable of thier products they carry. The store used to be dirty and unorganized, inside and outside. The store is now in a 180 degree change over. there is now no clutter or garbage antwhere, inside and out. The beer and wine section is more extensive and refined, an entire knew area has been constructed. The display is of a high array with competitive prices with stores in the Portland metro area. The produce and deli departments are fresh and appealing. The meat section is the same, the butcher is a nice mature man. The men in the produce section make you glad you came in, very courtious and friendly. The management must have changed from a year ago, Its an entirely different shopping experiance then the last 11 years. I would encourage any one taking a family vacation to the Mount Hood region to explore the new Welches Thriftway.
