This was a terrible living experience. Its employee housing for Keystone so theres a long waiting list of people waiting to get in by midseason. It almost seemed that management was looking for reasons to evict people just to cycle them out and move the next person on the list in. I think they do this to satisfy the resort so the lack of housing doesn't look like a problem on paper. Management comes into your apartment every month to do an ""inspection"" where they basically look for paraphinalia or any other reason to evict you. I went through nine roomates in as many months. Because management obviously doesn't care about their tenants, the tenants treat the apartments very poorly. There were constantly holes in the walls, theft was a problem, also the place is rampant with d r u g s! Tenants are noisy and disrespectful. The walls are paper thin. There is a cop that lives on the premises who has nothing to do but constantly bother you for the smallest transgressions. That's not to talk about the units themselves. One roomate described his room as ""Living in a shoe inside a shoebox."" Pretty accurate. They are TINY. And housing provides extremely uncomfortable furnature and beds. You are not allowed to bring in any of your own furnature. The appliances are old and broken down. Oh and when summer comes and most of the people move out you are manditorily made to move to another apartment in order to ""consolidate"" tenants. One more thing on the negatives, right before I moved out my roomate got bed b u g s! (for some reason b ugs is innapropriate.) These things are almost impossible to get rid of and will probably infest the whole building by the end of next winter. I did give it an extra star though because its only about 1 minute from the resort. Also management is pretty good about responding to maintenance requests. If you move here, start looking for friends and a new place ASAP!
