Review content:
Nimbus is Aveda Concept with an urban, rustic art house feel. It's a place where niche style and trendy designs happen. Most of the stylists have been there for years and they all seem to love what they do there. Why else would they stay! I mean my hairdresser moved three times in the last few years alone. A lot of stylists at Nimbus are booked out so calling in advance is helpful.. The guy who answers the phone and runs the front is awesome by the way.. Ricky I think his name is... The new talent is also great. On trial, I was talked into booking with a peppy young girl (her name is slipping away at the moment) because my regular stylist in another Aveda salon was out of town. I left with a fantastic cut and color and I will be returning to Nimbus to see what else is brewing over there.
The salon ambiance is characteristic of beautiful downtown Los Gatos but the feel in this salon is elemental, funky, earthy, and artistically open. Anyone can go here, even the leery like me, feel welcome, and leave looking awesome. They made me feel great and I usually have incredibly thin and lifeless hair.. Usually I dislike my first go round with a new stylist and have to grow on it a while so I am truly happy to have found Nimbus.
Cheers! I like your positivity and keep it coming.
