Review content:
We went to Tapestry to our anniversary. That was the 1st anniversary of the last time we'll go there. I appreciate variety as much as the next diner, but this borders on schizo. There were so many culinary genres there that nothing was really great, it was all just mediocre. I think they would be better served sticking to one theme. The ""Yesterday's Soup"" was lentil, and it could have come from a can. The ""grocery cart"" of spring rolls was pretty good, just very greasy. The foie gras was served in a pool of oil. And the skirt steak was ordered medium rare, but arrived medium. On a positive note, the service was great. Our server was very cheerful and attentive, although he knew almost nothing about any dish we asked about. I think this restaurant has potential. But I recommend that the owners/chefs revamp the menu. Focus on quality, not quantity.
