Review content:
I signed a consignment agreement with Victor of MotoClub di Santa Monica to sell my 1999 Kawasaki Ninja. He told me he would have it sold within 2-3 weeks. About two weeks later Victor informed me that the bike had sold. I made arrangements to pickup my cash but an hour before I was supposed to meet him he told me he would feel more comfortable depositing the money into my checking account. Since the transaction was made through Paypal he wanted the money to clear his account before he handed the cash to me. Understandingly, I didn?t push the issue as he promised the money would be in my account within two days. I went through three weeks of worrying if I would ever see the money. Victor lied to me saying that he had deposited the money in my account (to which he didn?t have the account number.) He stopped answering my calls and resorted to texting instead. I didn?t see the money until I warned him that if I didn?t see the check in my mailbox with seven days that I would file a small claim with LA county court. He overnighted the check (which arrived on the seventh day!) Oh, he also promised to send an additional $100 for all the trouble. I didn?t receive it with the initial payment. I emailed Victor a few days later to remind him of his promise. He replied on September 29th claiming it would be in the mail within a few days. Between that date and when I actually saw the check (October 20th) I left several messages on his cell. His mechanics do good work but DO NOT trust this guy with your money! Pros: he sold my bike Cons: I had to wonder if I would ever see the money for the sale.
