I used to really like their food, though I did not approve of their hygiene standards. But the man who owns the place completely turned me off with his bad attitude.
Taking out food from Zaws entails a 30-45 minute wait after placing the order. What is worse is that even if I placed an order for take out by phone and arrived 45 minutes later, I would still have to wait for another 30-45 minutes! Clearly, he wouldn't even start making my order till I got there. This happened to me not once, but on 3 different occasions. When I complained, the owner instead of being apoplogetic, was rude to me and even went to the extent of saying I SHOULD NOT ORDER HENCEFORTH IF I CANNOT WAIT!!!!
I have never been there since...good as though the food is, I would rather order from somewhere where people are nice to customers.
