Review content:
I would recommend calling around and checking prices beforehand. They offer a three year warranty that's pretty steep; basically you the customer are paying twice for the service which is rendered. I have a 2004 truck which needed a fuel pump, Skip's auto service wanted a $1,000 dollars to fix it. I took it to another shop and it wasn't even $4, 00 dollars. My friend had her dodge caravan repaired there and a starter was installed with a serpentine belt and the bill was $9, 00 dollars. Its outrages to charge these types of prices in today?s economy. The actual dealership is your best bet, and purchases your own parts or follows up by checking prices. I stringently will not recommend Skip's Auto Service for any one who needs to watch a buck or two. Always ask for a copy of the original parts invoice that?s untouched before paying your bill. Remember, they?ll always use dealer pricing but hardly ever install OEM parts. Get smart and wise up and shop around. They dealership will always give the correct amount of hours it takes to complete a job, and use that information when shopping at smaller shops for auto repair.
Pros: I can't think of any
Cons: They are ripp offs
