Review content:
Chez Jean Pierre is top notch. Once you step into one of the many dining rooms you'll see why; it is chock full of Florida's elite. In fact Hugh Grant happened to be dining at the bistro during our evening visit. The ambiance is funky--walls have paintings overflowing their canvas & frames sprawling across the wall. However, it seems in places the artwork is haphazard and inelegant. Yet it is not so much the ambiance here, but the food that will please customers. Excellent wine list, superior potato leek soup, the fresh & simple preparation of Holland ""Dover Sole"" accompanied with a lemon, butter & parsley sauce was delicious. I feel the fish was overpriced at $35.00. The price tag was more like an import fee considering the fact that the fish is flown in fresh daily from Holland. The creme brulee, frozen souffle and Terry's coffee were fantastic desserts!
