Review content:
It has recently come to my attention that the Nunnally family (aka Wendy C.) posted the above comments to this website. Her misguided anger is the direct result of the school requesting that she pick up her children who she repeatedly brought to school sick and refused to come pick up after asking her to do so. At this time there were 3 strains of flu, stomach viruses, allergies and doctor offices were overflowing with sick children from preschool age to high school. The administration here at Lambs & Ivy is very mindful that our parents have jobs that require their time and we are very careful and considerate when asking a parent to pick up their sick child. However, our first priority is the health, safety and well-being of ALL children in our care, along with the staff. To suggest that there are no humidifiers in the classrooms or that we take children outside in threatening weather conditions is simply a lack of common sense. Furthermore, I find it very insulting and disrespectful that she would make an uninformed assumption about my marital status and legal name which I will not dignify with a response. Lastly, Lambs & Ivy may not be for every family...but for those families who made the choice to become partners with us in their child's educational development, we are grateful and will continue to work hard to challenge our students into developing self-esteem and the skills to become independent learners. Sincerely, Patricia A. Gale
