Review content:
I had a bad experience at Ed Tomko over the weekend. We just leased a new Grand Cherokee for my wife a few weeks ago. Ed Tomko was over priced so I ended up leasing through Brunswick Auto Mart, who had the best pricing and hand delivered the car to our house. I went in to Ed Tomko a few days ago because I needed a Jeep dealer that was close by to put on the front license plate. When I went to Service, the rude gentleman (Dave Tomko) immediately asked me over and over who was my salesperson before helping me out. Once I told him I leased the car through Brunswick, he looked annoyed and told me to go there and have them put in on. He would not spend a few minutes helping me out. I was waiting for him to start laughing, thinking he was joking, but he was serious. Brunswick was an hour away and Ed Tomko was 10 minutes from my house.
I thought all Jeep dealers fix/repair any type of Jeep product. But Dave Tomko made it clear they only service cars that are bought or leased through Ed Tomko. Putting on a front license plate would have taken just a few minutes. He was obviously trying to be very difficult and could care less that I was there, even though the place was completely dead. He was short, very rude and extremely unprofessional. Now I know why it was a weekend and the place looked like a ghost town.
I will never go back to Ed Tomko nor recommend my family or friends from ever going there as well.
