Review content:
I called and asked for a quote on a pair of pants. I was given a $5-$10 quote. Awesome. I took the pants in, they told me $25. Ok, fine, but they rudely laughed at me (like I was crazy) when I told them what I had been quoted. They were very rude. They told me the pants were being priced as a dress. I told them I was not willing to pay $25 for the alteration, seeing how I only paid $24 for the pants in the first place! As I walked out I said I would take it to another place, and the 2 women got snippy with me saying that I would not be able to get it done for any less than that and last (and worst of all) the woman yelled ""GOOD LUCK"" very rudely at me when I was walking out. It was very petty and childish. Very surprising for small business owners. Wow! Can't believe that they can keep their business open when treating their potential customers like this! Not only did they lose my money today, but forever. And the old saying is true, I will tell anybody and everybody NEVER to go there. There are other alteration companies that may be the same price, but at least they are willing to treat their customers with respect. And I WILL go pay $25 for the alteration, but never at Main Street Alterations. I need to be treated like a human if you want my business. Thank you.
(PS. I also wouldn't have given the ONE star, that's too high. but I must give one for the review to post....)
