I've been a faithful Studio Mac customer for several years and Cathy and her amazing staff have seen me through numerous different cuts and colors; all executed with the highest levels of talent and professionalism. Cathy is a true innovator, highly trained, and an absolute visionary. She knows all of the nuances of her business and, what's more, cares deeply for all of her customers and regards their happiness and satisfaction highly. Even when I was in college and couldn't afford to maintain my hair as I do now, Studio Mac always welcomed me without any of the gripes that you get from other salons about consistency or treating me like a second class citizen. Even when my hair was ravaged they were NEVER preachy and in fact have spent extra time and energy on healing my hair, often going beyond my scheduled time, just because they care. The Salon has a friendly yet indulgent atmosphere, from the time you sit down, you are greeted with a warm beverage (try the mint hot chocolate!) and welcoming comments from all staff members, even a first timer can't help but feel like family. Cathy and her staff are so knowledgeable that my highlights are angled in such a way that my roots appear barely noticeable when my next appointment comes around. Love it! It angers me to see negative comments posted on here as I know there is no way they could be from ANY Studio Mac customer, it's sad when people can't respect others expertise and success. I have recommended the salon to many people over the years and have heard only rave results, in fact, my friend sees the only high point of her moving back to CT from FL is that she'll get to have Cathy do her hair! I myself have moved and now drive in 2 hrs. from New York just for Studio Mac, I won't let anyone else touch my hair. It is the extras that characterize Studio Mac, extra thought, extra care, extra time, the little professional touches in addition to the foundation of expertise that keep me from going anywhere else.
