When we first started out in the land of sushi, sushi land was perfect. We had no idea what was what and we were able to experiment without spending a lot of money. But now that we have experienced and we have learned, we wouldn?t tread anywhere near sushi land. The fish is not fresh, the hot food is cold and the cold food is room temperature. Even the rice has a strange taste. I LOVE sushi. I?m crazy about it. If I could eat it everyday, I wouldn?t and never bat an eye of discontentment. I?m really easy to please when it comes to sushi. Sushi land leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and an ache in my stomach. The last three times I?ve eaten there (we kept going back in hopes that maybe they had an off night or two) I?ve gotten some form of upset stomach. It just doesn?t sit right, and it never happens to me anywhere else. There isn?t enough wasabi, ginger and soy sauce on all of the tables in the joint to cover their poor quality. I see the same 6 things going around over and over. It?s just not worth it. Is this what I am supposed to expect from a sushi-go-round? I don?t think so. You?d have better quality and taste buying sushi from a street vendor.
