Review content:
Some of the best restaurants in LA are often indicated by how prepared you have to be in advance if you want to get a table. Hugo's is no exception (for breakfast anyway). It's been a neighborhood favorite FOREVER. And it's even better now. More light, airy, and comfortable (i love the booths--very ""in crowd""). Food's still great, maybe even better. I was always one to go in for breakfast, but with the fresh dinner and drink menu it makes for a great night spot too. Grab dinner, then go to whatever's next for you that night. I like that I can either eat comfort food (mmmm, mac n cheese) or something more healthy (love the salads!). They lean adventurous without going too far. And they do the muddled fruit & herb drink trend well (can you say Mojito).
Pros: Good food, not super expensive
Cons: west hollywood can be hard for parking, but they have a lot in back.
