Review content:
During this past week I needed to replace the water pump on my ?88 Corvette. I began by calling the local Raleigh area Chevrolet dealerships and speaking with their parts representative. I called Sir Walter Raleigh, Bobby Murray and finally Chris Leith in Wake Forest. Of the three, only Bobby Murray and Chris Leith Chevrolet parts representatives were willing to offer prices significantly below list. Brian Loy of Chris Leith Chevrolet, went way above and beyond in not only helping me locate the part, but actually found an out-of-state dealership that had the part in stock that was willing to sell it significantly below dealer cost to clear their inventory. Needless to say, I was more than pleasantly surprised. Now that?s putting the customer first! Brian was also the only parts guy who knew what the part numbers were for the fuel line supply and return o-rings and had them in-stock. I have used Chris Leith Chevrolet service in the past and the parts manager has always worked with me on part price. But let me tell you, this was a wonderful experience and I will call Chris Leith parts/service in the future. Way to go Brian.
