Review content:
I had a body wrap and facial at this spa. I thought I'd get a full 1 hour body wrap and 1 hour facial, since I was paying for them as separate treatments, each supposed to last one hour). Instead, the woman combined them, so I had bright lights and extractions going on during the body wrap, making it very hard for me to relax and enjoy it (and it didn't last a full 2 hours). I also felt like I was being given a sales pitch on the products during my treatment (i came to relax, not be advertised to). When I went to pay, there were products on the counter (which I expressed no interest in) and the woman was trying to walk me through the product brochure until I just said "I'm not buying anything today." The other person who then processed my payment loudly asked "do you want to add on a gratuity?" to which I replied, "uh, ok - 10%". I should have just said I didn't feel the service I received warranted a tip, but I felt put on the spot with other people around listening. I have to say the surroundings were nice, but the service did not live up to my expecations.
Pros: Ambience
Cons: not friendly service, too much sales pitching
