Review content:
My girlfriend recently suprised me with a couples' day of pampering at Spa Sasse and I was totally excited at the idea. To be blunt the excitement ended there....Our day started off with a rather anit-social/rude staff that never seemed to have a clue as to what our schedule was supposed to include...We were constantly left feeling lost and unattended to (including being left in the main hallway in our robes and waiting for someone, anyone to come tell us what was next). We are a young couple and although we have a lot of life to live we have definitely experienced the finer things in life and none of those did we experience here... Very cheap decor with fake flowers everywhere, sub-par salads that came as part of our package, and an unusual amount of noise for a spa (could here loud laughing and voices while getting massages). In our opinion a spa should have similar noise rules to a library, very quiet and relaxing environment and with those who are there being completely respectful of the others around them.... Although we enjoyed the pedicures and manicures, we could have gone without the awkward personal conversations between the two employees....it was ongoing and the type of situation where you can't leave and feel as if you need to smile and act interested to avoid being rude. So in closing, the massage was enjoyed by both, as was the bath with the truffles but still A LOT of room for improvement.
