Review content:
We took our 4 year old son to the Children's Museum after viewing their website. Thinking that $7 was a good deal, we went around 11:30 AM on a Saturday. This turned out to be a mistake. First of all, this place was completely overrun by kids. I understand that this is the purpose of a children's museum but it was not equipped to handle but a fraction of the visitors. Second, this place was severely understaffed. There was no order. We spent most of the time searching for an opening. If your child is not highly aggressive, they will not enjoy themselves as they will not get their turn in any of the rooms. And do not count on the parents as it seemed they merely dropped off their kids and kept no watch over some of these very rude and misbehaved children. The only saving grace was a firetruck on the bottom floor that our son was able to play on. The idea was great but at the end of the day, we ended up with a son who was very dissappointed. I would recommend that if you wish to visit the Children's Museum to try to do so during the week, perhaps it will not be as crowded.
Pros: Building look great to kids during the approach
Cons: Crowds, understaffed, not enough stations to accomodate
