I didn't discover Angel Flight Railway as a child, but through a walk though of Los Angeles with a professor of mine. Angel Flight is the main passage between old downtown and new downtown. For only 25 cents you can take a 45 second ride on an important piece of LA history. Though not in it's original location, Angel's flight is the doorway to such wonderful things as Grand Central Market, The Bradbury Building, and a beautiful hidden memorial to Biddy Grandma Mason. Take an afternoon off, stop by and park near MOCA and enjoy a day of LAs rich history.
