Review content:
I ordered a furniture, and was told that I would be contacted when they arrived, in 4-6 weeks. Four phone calls, 9 weeks, and several run-arounds later, I found out that the factory had shipped my furniture TWO weeks prior. Godby would have to SEARCH their warehouse for my merchandise! They didn't know where it was! We asked to speak to a manager and received no apologies. We were told that their policy"" is to contact customers only when they hear from the factory. They apparently weren't to be held responsible, even though the merchandise had been sitting in their warehouse for TWO WEEKS! We asked for compensation - a free delivery ($50), and were again told that it ""is not our policy"". So, I conclude that Godby was unwilling to pay the $50 to ensure that a customer who bought thousands of dollars of merchandise is a satisfied customer. Cons: Poor Customer Service
