Went there for a lunch on 08/02/07. Ordered the Oh-la-la and the Bayou Cake (lunch, not appetizer). Being somewhat a culinary aficionado, it takes a bit to impress me. I do have to say this place was definitely on the list of better places to eat in Acworth and the general surrounding area. The prices are reasonable and the food was spot on -- all the people who claim to 'know' what Louisiana food is supposed to taste like and then turn up their nose at this place don't know what they're talking about. They do have a few classic dishes and some nuevo-cajun stuff, which I particularly enjoy. The cake was tender, the seafood was fresh, and the seasonings weren't overpowering -- they added a nice depth of flavor and plenty of warmth. The service was polite and very attentive -- my drink was never half empty. Pros: Prices, Quality of Food, Service Cons: Busy downtown area, not enough seating
