Wow, did these guys try to take me for a ride! They gave me an estimate of $550 to repair a VW radiator (saying a hose and flange needed replaced). When I was told by a friend that was an extremely high estimate, I decided to take it elsewhere for a second opinion.
FOR THE SAME PRICE Stan's quoted, here's what I got:
1. AAA membership to have car towed to REPAIR MASTERS in Boulder;
2. All transmission repairs;
3. New wiper blades and repaired wiper arm;
4. New battery, incl. installation.
And if I get one more of these SEXIST postcards in the mail from them I'm going in to complain. (Stan's understands my special needs as a woman? They'll break it down into easy-to-understand terms that ladies can understand? They offer a ladies-only discount?? Just treat me fairly in the first place.)
