Stan's Tire & Auto Svc Ctr

I've been taking my vehicles to Stan's for several years now, and every experience I've ever had with them has been excellent. Whether it's an oil change, a new fuel pump, or something more complicated, the team at Stan's has always done an incredible job for me. They have always quickly diagnosed any problems and then taken the time to explain and answer all of the questions I have. The quality of work and integrity at Stan's is refreshing after having dealt with so many other not-so-honest auto repair shops. Stan's is truly a five star business! more

Wow, did these guys try to take me for a ride! They gave me an estimate of $550 to repair a VW radiator (saying a hose and flange needed replaced). When I was told by a friend that was an extremely high estimate, I decided to take it elsewhere for a second opinion. FOR THE SAME PRICE Stan's quoted, here's what I got: 1. AAA membership to have car towed to REPAIR MASTERS in Boulder; 2. All transmission repairs; 3. New wiper blades and repaired wiper arm; 4. New battery, incl. installation. And if I get one more of these SEXIST postcards in the mail from them I'm going in to complain. (Stan's understands my special needs as a woman? They'll break it down into easy-to-understand terms that ladies can understand? They offer a ladies-only discount?? Just treat me fairly in the first place.) more

This shop has been around forever. They know that if they treat you right, you'll be back. They have always given an honest answer. If a job does't need to be done, they tell you but if it does, it's done right. The other best thing, they will not be satisfied until the customer is satisfied. They will make it right! Thanks jeepdude for calling this to my attention in my own town. I saw that this same guy posted racist garbage about one of my favorite restaurants in town...Efrains! They are opening a new one soon as well! Pros: They've been around forever, the owners are on site! Cons: Ummm? You get what you pay for...they aren't the cheapest. more

I just saw nakai's negative review of Stan's. To be honest, I've known Stan and his family for 30 years and this is the first remotely negative comment I've ever heard regarding Stan's Tire and Automotive. The fact that nakai characterizes a $15.24 charge for repairing a flat tire as a ""rip off"" is laughable (I typically pay $30-40 if I can't do it myself). Nakai obviously knows nothing about about the quality of work Stan and his team produce. Pros: Fast, Friendly, Reasonable Pricing, and HONEST more

Took my vehicle to get a flat repaired and Stan's charged $15.24 to plug a nail hole, I was trying to support the small business but felt I got ripped off, later found out that Big O tires right up the street does not charge anything, I would encourage any perspective customers to shop around, seems as though Stan's is more concerned about the quick buck than giving the customer value for dollar.
